EDUCATION:
The Fashion Retail Academy, London

My Final Project involved me basing an idea around a national retailer “Juicy Couture.” Having done extensive research into the brand I found that the company itself had never focused on retailing of sports wear for women. I therefore incorporated the original design into a new theme for sports wear. I obtained for my final project a Grade A with Merit.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS:
At the age of 13 with my school  I did a three month over seas educational course in Israel, living on a kibbutz and travelling the entire country, along with carrying out all my school studies. This was an amazing experience that taught me to be very independent, self-motivated as many of the task’s we had to learn to do by ourselves.

I also enrolled on a care scheme at school, where senior pupils aided younger student with improving their reading ability. This was rewarding, as we learnt listen and be patient.

Participation in the organisation of the schools open days whereby students escorted new pupils and their parents around the school and provided an insight into student life at JFS and the rewarding experiences that it offered.

Further to this I attend life drawing classes, which allow me to visually express myself, which has positive influences with regards my work with fashion and the different projects I have been involved in at College over the past year for example creating a clothes range.

Full Valid UK driving License Since May 21st 2009

Additional Technical computer software skills, involving knowledge on all “Microsoft” programs, Adobe, and Photoshop, also has good knowledge of several visual merchandising programs such as the website “MockShop”

Buying and Merchandising

Another aspect that we had to focus on whilst doing our project was "Buying and Merchandising"

To incorporate this into my project i did four different price evaluations, the first being two separate "Price Triangles" for the tops and bottoms. The second was an "Option plan." The third was a "Sales plan" and finally i did an "option sheet" for both the tops and bottoms
